"Coffee, Tea and Genealogy"

Sheepscott Community Church will offer a two-day workshop on beginning genealogy on two successive Thursdays: March 4 and 11, from 10 - 11:30 a.m. in the vestry of the Valley Church at 8 The Kings Highway in Sheepscot Village.

Susan McCarthy, genealogy specialist for 25 years at the Maine State Library in Augusta, will lead participants through the steps of framing a genealogy. Charting materials, and coffee and tea will be provided by the church; ancestral stories will be provided by those attending. Members of the church and of the wider community are invited.
