Sheepscott Bridges is a web presence for the Sheepscott Community Church, a non-denominational federated church formed by the merger of the First Congregational Church of Newcastle and the Sheepscott United Methodist Church. The SCC uses and maintains the two historic buildings of the founding congregations
Valley Church
For the fall, winter and spring seasons, the congregation worships at the Valley Church, 8 The King's Highway, Sheepscott. The service is at 10 a.m. and the church has a ramp and is wheelchair-accessible.
The congregation migrates to the Hill Church for the summer months
Sunday School
Chrissy Wajer and Cindy Leavitt, assisted by Cyndi Brinkler, offer Sunday School instruction at the Valley Church during the school year. The classes meet in the vestry of the church from about 10:15 to 11:00, following the children's lesson during the service. No Sunday School during the summer.

Choir
Members of the choir are Jan Kilburn, Tony Kilburn, Karin Swanson, Clara Fagan, Joan Roberts and Curt Roberts. Organist and choir director is Fran Hewins.
Minister and Board
Minister of the Church is Rev. Harold Tucker, and Chair of the Church Board is Cindy Leavitt of Sheepscot. Board members are Chrissy and C.J. Wajer, Bill Thompson, Karen Mook, Lee Roberts, Donna Krah and Cyndi Brinkler.
As of Sunday, June 27, 2010, the congregation of Sheepscott Community Church worships at the First Congregational Church of Newcastle, a.k.a., the Hill Church, for the summer. They will return September 12 after Labor Day weekend.
Service is at 10 a.m., with coffee-and-cookies fellowship to follow the service.
